probably nothing to do with your problem, but put those rubber plugs back in the air box please. you gain nowt, but can really f~ck up your fuelling.

hoover tubes do some good despite the stories. they don't give a ramair effect, but help to ensure that sufficient cool air is supplied to the airbox inlet.

anywho i found the problem i think?? the fuel pump relay was joggling around it had come off its mounting brackets and was bounceing around

so fixed it up again and the problem ( touch wood) has gone!
