"Your bike is worth exactly what the buyer is prepared to pay for it...................and not one penny more."

seems I was right

well I'm of the same opinion as cargo, only worth what sum1 will pay,
but bare in mind that these bikes are about to become classics,
and for new license holders are "a first step towards that elusive 1000cc"

so its not surprising sum1 with a bit of purse is willing to front whateva is being asked for a chance to ave one of these.
i payed 2000 for mine and it was only worth about 1100 at the time, but i wanted one so badly and had the purse to do it that i didnt care aslong as i could ride it home that week lol!

Well...to fill in some of the missing blanks. The guy had just passed his direct access and wanted a 400 to start on. He was looking for a bike that wanted for nothing and the bike I had was exactly that. As an incentive I had the bike MOT'd and Serviced so I suppose that can be taken out of the equation if we want to be picky!

One born every minute is a very anal response, as the guy knew what he was talking about, he knew what he wanted and my bike was exactly as described....spotless!

The guy had travelled 3.5hrs just to see the bike so he wasn't coming on a half hearted whim.....So as was said, he had the purse to do so, so did!

Well done Sam, looks like he's bought himself a good un and as I always advocate on this site:

These bikes are underpriced by a country mile and will remain like that as the racers want cheap bikes. About time they bought NC30s seeing as they demand high coin they must be a higher quality race bike :smt003

Prices here are the same as what you sold your bike for as there is no domestic ZXR400 race series - they all use those overpriced NCs and NSRs :smt005

MM!
