engine case cover- racing
Hi, Does anyone know who sells the engine case covers for the zxr400- L model. Needed for racing. I have seen some that are carbon/ kevlar but am struggling to find any on the net. Or do most people just weld a piece af aluminiun on the casing? Thanks

s'what i do..\
there are BEET covers, but they are both rare, and expensive, and still probably break
I can supply media blasted and reinforced (welded) genny covers on an exchange basis if interested.

Re: engine case cover- racing

thats a beet cover there.
As zimm says they are quite rare( ive only ever seen 1 other than mine), and they do wear down just as fast as the standard ones.
Only saving grace is they are a bit thicker, so you may get two or three good crashes out of them instead of the usual one

Jap4performance did sell something, but i cant remember if they were just kevlar covers..

I'm gonna have a bash at making some carbon/kevlar covers for mine. Reckon they will only cost around £10 a cover.

Thanks people, I will try and find someone selling the carbon/kevlar jobbies. Has anyone made their own from carbon/kevlar? Are they easy to make?

How much are the BEET covers worth would you say?
