Yes, he was there, Daniel Frear was racing it. He won the 400 race by a country mile. 8 laps, 15mins 54.155secs, average speed 73.347mph. He also put in the fastest lap - 1m 56.127sec 73.347mph. TBH he was in a class of his own. He holds the 400 lap record there from 2009 but he was well off that.

Frear was also racing RMKD's 650 ER6 but I think he got a DNF - I haven't got him jotted down as a finisher in the top 10 at any rate.

Well when you come you'll be in good company as it's popular with the Irish boys and there was plenty there last weekend.

Make sure you shout up if you come and I'll track you down and say hello. They have camping overnight for spectators and entertainment so it might be an idea to organise a Forum meet for the weekend and we can all form the Team Cargo Posse and cheer you on

First time for me at olivers mount on sat.Just as spectator.looks like gid fun gonna get an entry in for the sept meet.
Roger had the new supertwin ER6 out and Dan Frear put it on pole pretty much first time out on it.And in the process went under Ryan Farquars lap record.But a few throttle problems in the races saw them retire which was a shame.As it looked like Dan would be abble to run with Farquar no probs.Im sure they will be back strong at the next one.

Right then Robbie I'll be looking out for you in September as I've got a day of work booked for the Saturday if the weather's fit. We want more 400s racing round the Mount so tell yer mates to get themselves along to Yorkshire, home of real road racing in England.

I see dan frear is racing the mgp this year, looking forward to see how he gets on.
Im not sure whos r6 he is riding tho? and im not sure if he is on rmkds new twin or zxr aswell, i hope so.

I spoke to Dan on Saturday and was in the same races as him too. He is riding at the Manx on bikes supplied by a friend of mine called Billy McKinstry known to his friends as The Maggot. Dan should have a good chance of winning the Newcomers race

check you out......... ............haven't been to the 'mount' for over 20 yrs........last time was with an 'ex'....ahem.........
but it's an excellent road track..really close to the spectators...unless its changed a bit........
