your right to say it's a rolling road..............a dyno will tell you how much power your bike is producing and also it will give information as to how it produces that power through the rev range from tick over to red line.
It will measure exactly what the fuel air ratio is through the rev range and you can adjust your carbs or fuel injection to achieve more power and better efficiency.

For example if you have a flat spot 6K revs it could be because the fuel air mixture is weak/lean and so you can adjust to correct it and the flat spot will be gone.
However like many things carbs are a compromise and so any changes can have a side effect elsewhere in the revs...............with fuel injection is is easier to make very specfic adjustments that do not have the same side effects..................

As a late great friend of mine once said................"it's only fuel and air"

All ZXR's and GPZ's are Ninja's. I think the US bikes all have 'Ninja' on them, but in the UK some didn't come badged with that. The Ninja tag is for their sportsbikes - but remember the GPZ used to be their sportiest model...

if i keep asking stupid questions ima end up with my own section lol but here goes again...

ive red th paint posts in body work, which re directed me twice, one being a list of paints and the next being the list of pictures show the years and colours...

ive read both them posts...and im now confused...

i know my paint is 1991 ZX400-L1 CANDY WINE RED (H3) ,
but my bike is a 1993 L2,
am i wrong. was it missed off the list. or is it allowed to be different im confused...

List ain't perfect, mine isn't there either but I guess Baz has more things to do than keep tweaking it. Why don't you post up in the section and give your paint specs, then other people can refer to it?

And why don't I follow my own advice and do the same :smt017
ZXR400 L4, purple / black / pink
Hel braided hoses
Pirelli Diablos
Ohlins steering damper
A16 carbon fibre exhaust can
Nitron Sport shock

This may sound like a silly question, but one that has been puzzling me for some time although the sleepless nights havn't started yet. Any way here goes " Why are most Kawasakis painted lime green" and are the ones that are not painted in this colour qenuine Kawasakis?

To racers Lime Green is a bit like a black cat crossing your path - they freak so Kawasaki used it when they came into racing to scare the oposition it worked right up to 2001 :pmsl

Apart from that - best colour ever :smt003
