Picked the ZXR from Neo (nice guy with a batshit mental dog ) yesterday, rode back the 100-ish miles without a hitch.
Filtered the motorway when it was crawling @ 50, i was 70
Feels awesome to back on the road again
Fitted the grab rail the night i got home, went for a bimble with the missus.
Went out for a blast tonight, then the heavens opened so it was epic slow cornering.
Roadsmarts are on order, i hate Conti's....

Got a black race screen arriving this week i hope.
Pro-bolt screen bolts have arrived, gun metal, ally oil filler cap fitted.
Steel lines fitted today (cheers zac) with some more Po-bolt bolts.

Teh CBR only got nicked because....

We live in a mid terrace house with ally ways, and steel gates preventing access to anyone but the residents whose house is connected to the ally way.
I parked the bike up in the ally way behind the steel gate, made sure it was locked and went inside. I didnt put the chain on it cos i was going back out in a couple of hours.
Some-one who has a key to that gate, some-one who lives on this side of the street, has opened the gate and taken it/let scrotes take it.

If only i had caught them. There would have been pure carnage involving hard things and jaws, leading to a trip to hospital for a couple of twats to get their jaw reconstructed and wired shut for 6 months.
