Fork Lengths

Post by JMcP92 »

Alrighty lad ;)

Posting on behalf on a friend here. He's is building an NC30 track bike and using ZXR400 USD forks, but he says he's been told elsewhere that there were two different fork lengths over the year, and you need to ensure to get the longer ones or the front of the bike will sag. Him and I have both looked around the internet trying to pull up some info, but found nothing.

Anyone enlighten me?

H model forks are an inch or so longer than L model forks, and require different yokes as the waisting is different.

H model forks in good nick are rare as hens teeth as the H was only made for two years compared to the L's 10 year production run.
