As far as money is concerned Im only really looking to cover my overheads for when the workshop is otherwise standing unused.. its an offer of facilities to a community that i've benefitted from being a part of over the years not a business venture.
Naturally if you want me to get my hands dirty i'll charge for it, but if its just a bit of advice on a day that would otherwise have been spent doing (earning) sod all then i'd be reluctant to take money for it..
I've sought out advice from Roger Middleton, Chris @ Dynopro racing, Dynotech and many others .. they've never asked for nor received any money from me*
what diference does it really make if that advice is through an internet forum, via email, over the phone, or in person ?
The only person who's ever charged me for advice was Stan Stephens when i was having issues with an old TZR-250 and rang his premium rate "stroker advice line" from work.. and even then he phoned me back !
*ok, i bought a ram air box from dynopro.. but the advice came free months before i made the purchase
club workshop proposal ?
