get in lane early, for instance coming of a single carriageway you have a slip road going off get in the lane soon as it goes off, and make your looks obvious e.g life saver etc
Ride it like you stole it

+1 when looking in your mirrors move your entire head, over-exaggerate it slightly so they look obvious. Also mirrors every time you do anything aka speed limit changes, changing lanes, and every 5-10 seconds.

Something I got marked down for was when moving down a road like this:

Stay in the middle of the road. If there is an oncoming car move over to the left so they have space to get through. I got 2 minors for it because my instructor said to be assertive lol

My tester was adamant that at least 2 feet between yourself and parked cars in any direction, a bus decided to come down a road like above with me already in it and I got warned about giving way to it by moving close to a car... I didn't want to be hit confuddled

I would say stick with making very obvious head movements for mirrors and LIFE SAVERS! they love a bit of that

Try to keep the front wheel on the floor, don't leave big black marks on the road whenever you change speed or pull away, and don't take both hands off teh bars to clap sarcastically at cars after they've done something daft. :smt002

You can do all of that on the way home with your full license! :excited

Good luck!
