BBPlastics bellmouths
does anyone have any info/pics for these? Do they need to be run with the oem air box, a kit air box, a ram air box, or fully open? i've had good results with my gpz500 running open bellmouths (albeit with a stage 3 jet kit) and a straight through pipe, and would like to do similar on the zxr, if only so i can expand the tank into the air box and snorkel area to at least double the range.
I do 700 miles a week in all weathers including snow, that's roughly 35,000 miles a year, and some weekend warrior biker has the nerve to get out of his Audi at work to tell me to I was riding far too fast in the wet (over taking at 50... fast eh?).

Hi Mate,
I know its a bit late to reply to your question but i have only just registered on here and seen it, I used to own BBPLASTICS and developed the bellmouths they are made to run with the BBplastics ram airbox, I done all the testing at dynotech performance on there dyno at bramley basingstoke we found that depending on the tune of the bike they gave 1 to 3 rear wheel bhp more on my zxr400 we gained 2bhp more, but i did here of one bike which they made no difference to we never tried them out with a standard airbox so i have no idea how they would perform but would think not very well but you never know till you try something out.
