Carb balancing

Hi folks

I am trying to balance my carbs which thanks to RedexRobs guide i have managed to do fairly successfully.
However the two pipes that Rob describes connecting the carbs together are not the same on my bike. It has four individual pipes which are blanked off.
Should they be connected together as per robs guide or is there a reason they would be different?

For the sake of correctness id say they should be connected as per my guide as this is the standard set-up. As to why they are the way there are with your bike i dont know.

That was my feelings aswell! Thanks for doing the guide Rob. Very useful indeed.
Can i just use any hose? Theres nothing special about it?

Long as it reaches the spigots comfortably and doesnt leak any air you should be fine with anything
