What is the difference between the "standard" subframe and the sp subframe?
I need tha subfrme to mount the original sp unti?

Original units are no longer available from factory, I'm pretty sure I haven't taken any photo's of it so next time I am in store room will pull it out and get a few done, been a while since I looked at it.

The first part of subframe that bolts onto frame is same for L & M(SP) model , the second part differs - the SP one has lots of holes on it. These are both available new , main section is 35,070 Yen shocking and meccano piece is 24,675 shocking shocking

By all accounts your OK to use all the L subframe - I would just like to sell both as a unit rather than having parts sitting.
