newbie from north east

Post by alanh »

:smt006 hi all, just joined the forum after buying a zxr400 (l model, not sure which one as its just been chucked in the back of the garage) for all of £350 to convert to a trackbike, bike runs and still has a bit of m.o.t. on IIRC, all lights and electrics working. Has had inlet cam changed and needs shimmed which im gonna try and attempt with the help of a friend, worked on a few car engines but they've all ran hydraulic lifters so its new to me. Has a few bits that need tidied up but nothing major, the idea of it is keep things cheap and get more tracktime in without risking my R1. will put a few pics up of it when i get a chance.
