One for any of you that are more mechanically minded than me and i dont want you to answer this one mum!!
Im having no luck finding whats turning my oil a nice latte colour so going back to head gasket assumption. It appears to be fine around the outside with no leakage, could this still be the head gasket failed on the inside??
If the head needs to come off is it a big job to remove and refit?

Sounds like coolant leaking into the oil and yes it can fail just on the inside. The engine will have to come out for this one

Not that big a job done it myself loads of times...................
I'd lap the valves in while your there...........may as well once the head is off....................
I assume crank and gearbox are OK ?

Lap the valves in?? If you haven't guessed I'm not that mechanically minded, I'm enthusiastic but not blessed unfortunately. Haven't even tried to put it in gear yet dut to the clutch cable being f@&?ed and what do I look for on the Crank?

Ha! Could probably throw in a kit kat?
That would be great, it would certainly steer me the right way!!
When you next racing? Do you do the track days at kirkiston or just stick to the races?
