Hello there everyone! Right,
I'm Rik, from Bolton, I'm 23 and i am currently looking for my first bike, most preferably a zxr400 =D

I've always loved bikes but was never 'allowed' to have a bike when i was younger thanks to my worried parents. I took my CBT and theory test about 6 months ago and i am currently waiting for some time off work to do my Direct Access and pass my test (fingers crossed!).

I want a sportsbike. I don't want to ride anything else really. So i had a look around and did some research and decided a 400 might be a decent place to start. I am confident on a bike (my cbt instructer was amazed i'd never ridden before!) and consider myself a good, responsible road user in the car aswel. So i am quite confident that i won't find a 400 too hard to handle, but we'll just have to see about that won't we lol.

I just need some advice really on looking for a bike and anything else you guys can offer. I do love the ZXR and at the moment, that is what i would like to own, but i have seen a few decent honda 400s which have also caught my eye, but they are always more expensive. I have all the gear so i just need a bike now (and to pass my test obviously).

Sorted nice one arkell. I check ebay and bike trader regularly and i will keep me eyes peeled on here now too. Someones sellin one on ere for 1500 n it looks awesome, i love the colours (is it called urban tiger or sumat?). That bike is what i want, i just dont have 1500 quid at the moment!
