Battery
Hi chaps, just looking for a little information for my race bike. Basically my bike seems to be struggling to start, the sparks aren't strong & most of the time the battery will die after a few minutes of trying so Im gonna get another battery. Right now tho it's just the standard battery from it's road days, do you guys use a different battery for your race bikes? Cheers

Re: Battery
I use yuasa or varta ones and i go for the hayabusa one. Its a smaller size than the standard but has more go.
Ive tired cheaper batterys and fancy expensive oddysey's... no good. Never had a problem with either of the varta or yuasa.

Re: Battery
Actually Will, if you think how much Titanium you'd have to buy in order to save 5 lbs - The 4 cell is really cheap in comparison !

Re: Battery
Was looking at them before, but wasn't too sure how long they'd last & how much power they had? :-s

Bought that battery of eBay for £46.00 delivered! That website wanted £20 delivery!!!jake wrote:http://www.thebatteryshop.co.uk/yuasa-y ... -683-p.asp

Re: Battery
It could be cos I live in the highlands tho? Most companies put us under the same prices as the islands, even tho Inverness is actually a city!
Still all is well, got my bargain so I'm chuffed! Cheers Jake.
Also bit of topic, but what tyre pressures do you use for the supercorsa's? 29psi front, 29psi rear?

Re: Battery
aye dude. I have this printed and stuck to the inside lid of my toolbox. I always forget what they are.

I write the hot pressure next to the cold pressure front and rear so when i forget, i can just glance over at the toolbox.
I set them in the morning cold. Then i set them again when the warmers are on after practice, then check after each race.
I have the warmers on all day also
