At the moment I've got the engine to run after cleaning the carbs (which need balancing and probably new vacum tubes) and I've got a lot of cleaning, a paint job, the suspension, the valves and whatever other odd jobs that crop up still to do so there's quite a bit of work. It's my first ever time working on a bike as well so I'm learning as I go along, I might have bitten off a bit more than I can chew :p

oi oi!!
Hi guys, ex-blighty lad here
Recently got myself a ZXR250 and there's very little online that I could find, they seem pretty similar to the 400's though so I thought I'd check you guys out...

post some pics mate, we're glad to have you onboard, always wanted a zxr250 myself, rare that they are.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

Here you go, pic from before I bought it, at the moment it's in pieces in the garage though so it's not much to look at!

nah, New Zealand, they seem to be pretty big on the CBR250's and ZXR250's over here. The learner license puts you on a max of 250cc regardless of bhp so those are about the fastest things you can ride in your first year; guess why I bought mine
