ZX6R rear shock

There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

Hi guy,

Has any of you tried to fit a ZX6R rear shock? Will it fit and is it any good?

fitted the 636 one but not tried it out yet

i have one fitted and it fitted strainght in a have a pic in the build thread bit the only trouble im having is is to hard, coz the 400 is alot lighter then the 636 but im talking to k-tech bout it to sort it i hope

We also have a zx6r shock in one of our bikes. We had it re sprung by Maxton (about £70) as it was too stiff. We also had to cut away a bit of the battery tray, but we use a smaller NC30 battery anyway, so this has no negative effects.

Sounds good guys, thanks for the info. Maybe it's also an option to fit a H model link to make it a bit softer..

spoke to k tech today phil and they recomended i fit a 80 or 85 so i have bought the 85 being a fat 14 stoner so hope this works at the weekend see u at cadwell :smt002

Cheers Mate I got a 72.5 off them today as thats the closest they had for an ohlins but I'm 11 stone so should be ok See you saturday.
