im with arkell on that, if it was longer it'd look awesome but its far too short.
If it's broke spray it with WD40, if it's still broke spray it again and leave it over night, if it's still broke, bin it.

Ahhhh mixed reactions,
I thought OMG thats discusting... And then, as days went by, and things got neatend up, it grew on me, and now i love it.
I do agree it looked great with the long tail piece on, its was a bit tatty, but when i bobbed it i did it properly it looked so much more appealing.
People are like WTF! wheres ya bike gone, and theres alot of questions and eventually it grows on people.
Woah woah... who's taking the biscuit about my bracket!!! have you know that steel bar is SOLID!!!! must be 5mm thick. it was straight until a mate suggested i should cut into it and make the Brembo logo more alluring. Working progress.
I get two reactions:
Woah, thats mean! look's like a staffy/boxer, huge and bulky at the front...thats insane its a monster what engine's in it?!
and
Wheres the pillion seat gone?!
Plus points
Its great for popping wheelies, and staying on while doing them sat down, i get meself in that little gap
Feels so agile!, flicks from one side to the other faster than is imaginable!
Neat and sharp tail unit , number plate, light and indicators.
The seat height has gone up about 6 cm, great for me being 6'2.
Seat profile is thinner in diameter, sides bend round, more comfort and padding on the sides feels so right.
Lighter by 7kg. weighed everything i took off apart from the old number plate bracket (theres another kg) so 8kg?. Weight more centered.
Looks like the swing arm is lengthend.
Bad points.
No pillion, unless i take five minutes to bolt on the foots rests and old seat underneath the new one.Passengers must be petite?
(two separate seats officer)
Mixed reaction from you guy's, (needs to be seen in the flesh, im not kidding the front looks like its going to kill something)
Exhaust is a bit long. Need a stubby, or to make one... Advice?
The picture is on a hill hence the brick, so doesnt give the tail unit justice it does when its on the flat ground.
Marcie.
P.s keep checking back im always making My ZXRS400 more suited to me.
Just cleaned up my shock, polished it to a mirror shine. looked amazing but i couldnt get my hands on any clear laquer. So black was the way forward with a polished center.
Any suggestions are welcome. Your opinions do matter believe me.

Some body once told me... Theres only two things in life you'll ever need, Gaffa tape and WD40.
If it moves and it should'nt use Gaffa tape, if it doesnt move and it should use WD40!

Re: The new missus and her new rear end! ZXRS400
Haha thanks lad's.
Ive ordered some sticky blue vinyl... Going to do my own graphics.
Just measured up the tail unit every curve, line and imperfection. Im taking into consideration the lines of the existing blue fairing.
The Plan:
Create lettering ' MARCIE ' for two sides of tail and helmet, and text '67' for the rear square that joins the two tail pieces.
Design idea is, using the exsisting blue fairing, use water drops as if being blown in the wind. to follow on from the lines the blue fairing makes. (like if you painted your bike then immediately went for a ride, the paint would run, yes? thats the effect i want. IF ALL GOES TO POT ITS GOING TO BE BLUE FLAMES... :S
Ill get some pic's up in the next few days. IDEA'S / THOUGHTS?

il put my enck on the lien and say teh seat unit now looks skunk . there is a HUGE gap between the seat and the tank . and it just looks wrong on a fully faired bike beign so short. be a different matter if it was going to be more ratty / streetfightery but atm it just looks pants sorry

How rude....
Dont worry its a working progress, ill show you what ive been doing today:
Graphics! i think they make the tail unit work a bit better with the fairing.
Looks pants? well each to their own, i like it.
Just been working on making the seat longer (or dual), once ive done that i can get passangers on 'safely' within 2 min's, with a 10mm spanner and the pillion foot rests.
Yeah streetfightering it has crossed my mind, it would seem its going that way ey...

I'm undecided, i'l reserve judgement until graphics are finished but it definitly looks promising.
And if you stubby your end can could you take a few 'how to' pictures as i'm looking at doing the same on a spare damaged can i have.
Also how did u wire up the 2/3 horns? I'd love a stupid loud horn lol, just to make my point of view heard on the road
Is the rear brake bracket just sheet metal with holes drilled? Looks cool.
Just wanna say though i think its great your trying all this stuff and really making your bike yours!
One last thing, in that last side view pic is your missus picking her nose in the background??
