Re: KDMC 5th April
havent heard not being able to use aftermarket mc in formula 400... bit dodgy as most of the standard ones are shagged by now!
Having said that, the acu say we cant have ramair or change the exhaust to race formula 400!

Its pretty crap how different clubs have different rules, ive seen a few 400's with brembos so assumed this was allowed.

Yep it is pretty crap! Your best bet would be to speak to Dougie Brotherston to clarify what's allowed.

Finished 2nd in the 2nd race too, but just could not get close to Mike Skinner

Hope you get your bike sorted mate. Was a hell of a few days for you

Not sure if i will get it sorted in time for E Fortune but will give it a shot - have entered for that one and would like to get some racing after a long winter of messing about in the garage (missing EF would mean no racing until mid May). The race yesterday looked real competetive - there were "scraps" going on all over the field so even the middle order guys were having a load of fun - and perfect weather for it - see you at E Fortune hopefully

Re: KDMC 5th April
Well done Colin! It was a really good weekend. Some really fast guys and close, competetive racing!!
It was my first time on the bike this year and it felt really good! Decent tyres make a big difference and give much more confidence. Only managed a 14th and 12th but i'm happy with that as I had fun
Grinning all the way round. Had some good sport out there. Still got to find two or three secs a lap to match the top guys pace but the times are coming down. Need to get more time on the bike to practice.
Can't wait to get out again! Not gonna be able to make East Fortune which is a bit of a bummer so I'll have to wait till Knockhill in May.

You certainly knocked a fair bit off your laptimes between qualifying and race 2!! Sticky tyres make life so much betteralimcgoo wrote:Well done Colin! It was a really good weekend. Some really fast guys and close, competetive racing!!
