Race your road zxr !!

Just looking at the North Glos results - Only two 400 streetstocks competitors at Brands!
Why not enter one of the races this year on your zxr? Probably assured a good finish and it's the cheapest way to go proper racing on a 140mph bike.

You need :

1.Leathers with an ACU stamped crash hat + gloves and boots
2. A Zxr 400 with daytime MOT / Full mot (current) - The bike must have a working horn.
3. Lockwired sump bolt and lockwired jubliee clip on oil filter
4. Remove side stand & mirrors / tape up lights and no plate.
5. Two separate brake lines for the two front discs.

The only other bit is that you need to join North Glos £30, and then do a training day to get your ACU license £60

I did one of these last year at Donington and it's well organised fun. If you are quick enough you can enter the F400 class too.

You will get free practice 10 mins, A qualifying race 10 mins and a Race 15 mins , or double this by entering the F400.

I personally am doing the Snetterton round (Sat / Sun) 16/17 May and if you really want to dip your toe in the racing scene, I'll be really happy to help you.

This isn't an advert for North Glos, incidentally - It just struck me that the recession has thinned the grids out a bit,and there are trophies within reach for a good rider.

I've been to a few NGRR meets and can confirm they're a great bunch - very friendly, laid back and helpful atmosphere.

im about to move to a house with a bigger garage so i've been thinking about taking up racing again used to truely love it when i was younger!

How much dos each meet cost?

Depending on circuit between 90.00 and 120.00 for your main class and 40.00 and 75.00 for a second class with North Glos.
Suspect other clubs are similar prices.
