Ahh some more upgrade's for my ZXRS400!Namely, twin horn... they sound manly, non of this girly toot business. Sort of like a van haha, still 200 times better than normal.
And then an additional rear caliper, a gold brembo one :excited the rear brake now has a lovely progressive feel then if you push all the way it stops like the front does, it gives alot of feedback and stops my 100% reliance on the front brakes. I must say this was a cosmetic thing, until i actually tried it!
So simple to do both of these mods!

Yeah MOI the rear end of the OE zxr400 is not too my liking, and i think to a considerable ammount of owners. Just shows it can be done.

Strike that, its got THREE horns now... my goodness, it doesnt scare old ladies but deafens them!
Oh and ive got a daytime running light hooked up to the dipped beam now, a home made one ofcourse. Ill get pictures up ASAP.
Consists of a LED torch taken apart took all the stuff it didnt need off which just left the LED's which are red/blue/green and some other colours which flash and rotate, with bright white ones all around the outside which stay on, mounted under the front fairing bolt.

:excited

Is that safe with 2 calipers bolted to the disc?
I remember recently that a guy was jailed after putting his 4x4 into a river and killing a few of his kids cause he had "modified his brakes"

Haha good point mate, does it look safe?
Not entirely but thats not the point, back brake is like 0 percent of my braking.
Im going to make a propper bracket soon just because you brought it up.
Dont think id be killing my bairns though, although if i kill myself maybe im killing future bairns, ahh i see where your coming from!

If the calipers were 'bolted to the disc'... that would be DANGEROUS!
If i dont post for a while you can close this thread due to dangerous bodging. :pmsl

I had quite a long bolt (well both banjo's fitted on with about 3 threads spare) from another brake M/C so....
I drilled a second hole further down the bolt and shaved off a thinner diameter, if youve ever seen the bolts you'll know what i mean.
And essentially theyre stacked on eachother. (My mate broke an after market bolt on his master cylinder the other day so i took the time to drill an average bolt through the middle and in one side and shaved off a thinner diameter, his previous bolt was drilled all the way through, hence it broke.
:D

Probs. I was thinking of using another M/C mounted side by side with the existing one. But then i came across this bolt and thought id give it a go, works lovely. Seems even and progressive.
Ive ordered some metal cutting bits and bobs and drill bits to get a propper bracket made. :tease

Its apperance, and the fact i didnt want to slam the back brake on and lock, much prefer to have a progressive feel.
Dont worry though... all has changed now!
Pictures to follow!
