ok off the road for another month ish (hopefully ) so started stripping the zxr.
I need :
the bolts that hold the side stand switch sensor on ( or how do i just take it off ??)
proper bolts for the tank (or are they just bolts with washers??)
Front calipers !!! (mine are fubard pistons are all gankey and oen has a scratch on) so where is the thread saying about what other ones fir straight on ( black bird???)
FInal issue is my fan isnt switchign on no matter how hot she gets ( had it boil over stood outside a mates idling for 5-10 mins) so things to check ?? thermostat ?? the cables are going to the fan so im lost ><
woudl it be ok to just run a live to the fan and a switch under the tank or something?
help me select the items for my shopping list and fan proble

who you calling a black bird?
take the 2 wires off the fan switch on the back of the rad and bridge them together, the fan should come on, if it don't the fan is shagged. To check the fan switch itself, stick it in a pan of water with a thermometer in. Heat the water and measure the resistance accross the the 2 prongs. It should go from very high/infinate to very low at around 80C.
