'Bling' wanted!!

Post by arkell »

Cant think of what to ask from my rents for my upcoming birthday, so might as well just get some stuff for the zxr!!

Already have carbon hugger, carbon mudguard, carbon yolk cover, carbon clock surround, nice exhaust can, db screen, EBC discs front and rear, HEL brake lines front and rear, carbon chain guard, carbon mirror covers, blue oil cap, small indies, and some other stuff im sure ive forgotten :smt001

Thinking of stainless downpipes maybe? Some crash mushrooms? Stainless bolt fairing kit? That white rear light off ebay? Carbon frame protectors?

Ideas people!! :smt003

Give it all to me and ask for it all again :D

Worth a shot eh :p
If it's broke spray it with WD40, if it's still broke spray it again and leave it over night, if it's still broke, bin it.

Think you named just about everything you can bolt onto a zxr without spending £££. How does it run? could ask them to pay for a service, or dyno time to get it running sweet as simmo said.

its running great apart from an intermitent starting problem which i need to look at! Had a major service in august (valve clearances, carbs etc) and just had the headgasket done so dont really need a service. Like the dyno idea though will look into it- what exactly is it they'll do?

watch a dyno run on youtube. that will explain it best.

once its been ran up on the dyno, they will check the graphs, see if the bike is running rich or lean, and adjust the carbs to suit.
then you will have a smooth rev range and maybe a few more ponies :smt002
