Does your friend have any teenage sons/brothers? Sorry to ask, but I often spent the night tearing around the town on my big brothers bikes that were "locked away". It's amazing how creative kids can be when it comes to getting in and out of places without leaving any trace.
Check the mileage.

The post i wrote a while ago about the problems i had, was "a while ago"... since then, i fixed it and the bike hasnt moved. My mate is a very trustworthy lad and cant ride bikes properly, i know he hasnt gone anywher on it. My bikes rather loud, and its only locked up around the block from me, so if im in my house, i would hear it start.

I think i'll just write a letter back to them explaining that its locked up blah blah blah, thanks for the advice people!

ill keep you informed as to what happens.
