Hello all,

+ any other info on this topic will be hugely appreciated biggrin

Power is the same no difference between an import L9 and a UK L9

It will however be limited to 110mph...........................but it's easy to overcome.................

As long as it hasn't got 33bhp restrictors in (seller should be able to tell you) it'll get there bloody quick though.

Only other thing is the headlight and clocks. If you have bought it from someone in the UK and it has been in this country for a few years you will porbably find the headlight has already been changed so it points in the right place.

The other is the clocks may be in KM's. Not a problem and you can buy stickers for the clocks off ebay (about £2), or get a converter (more expensive at about £30) that attaches to your front speedo cable at the wheel and converts the speedo. Advantage of a converter is it will stop you being restricted to 110mph as the clock thinks you never get that fast. Also the tacho will mean you don't put as many miles (km's on the clock)

i think the carb washers are a UK restriction and euro restriction is done via the speedo sensor...

i could be wrong,
