Need to take the missus on the back :smt003 But want to have that solo seat look at times :smt002

Trumpets are 50mm F3 jobs but can order stock keihin ones for you, but don't think they come in that size.

RamAir box is also F3 and needs some slight mod's to make fit. I also have an H1 rad to swap out the larger H2 rad so that I can create an intake scoop onto the front cowl :smt004 If that don't work then i have a copy F3 heat shield to go in.

Early development shows that the FCR don't bog down under full throttle so might hold off on the other upgrades and go for a power/fuelling check 1st.

The RamAir box has carb settings noted on it and the F3 sheets I got with the cam's also have settings for me to play with.

As it progresses towards strip down I can see a three stage re-build happening - february / March will be initial launch ( :smt005 ) then as we head into summer start doing the change over to F3 components until the final stage.

At some point (and i keep trying) getting a 2nd engine to strip and re-build will be on the cards, I am reluctant to strip this one as it starts and sounds to good to "break" that factory condition. I'm not racing it and this is purely for interest/challenge and what can be achieved.

Will start a "My Build" thread hopefully end November start December :smt003

Will ask the wife what the 24mm is refering too and I also noticed something else at 18.5mm :smt017

I'll also get her to do the notes I have as they have a fair bit of info too.

You can find genuine ones here:

I'll confirm sizes but think Red are 40mm and Blue 35mm
