no idea who makes bespoke parts but i gather you can just remove the big bit with the magnets on by drilling out the rivets, leaves the starter gear intact, but obviously means a total loss system.

BDK was making a race genny, I also had an offer from another UK company that makes generators to make a race one if I sent them a bottom end for the work. Since I'm in the US it wasn't very practical.
