Hi ther fellow ZXR400 owners.
I've been on this site for a while now, in search of the right zxr 4 for myself.

I came across one yesterday that an old friend had sold on, and had to buy it.

ZXR400 H1 model.
1989 (F plate)
Full service history.
And i personally know that the bike has been well looked after.

All im after is a new front tyre, n i'm ready to go!

I aint gunna say hw much i payed for it, until some of you guys/gals have a bash at guessing.
See if wat i payed is around wat you lot say.

One of my neighbours is a motorbike fanatic and has been for years.
He gave the bike a quick check over for me wen i got it home n sed he had a back tyre for me
but that i had to buy the matchin front tyre....??
I've heard different off other people..that it doesnt really matter?

So its left me abit confused..do i need matching tyres or wat?
I didnt think it wud matter myself, but im not clued in on things like that yet so i wasnt sure.

I'll put my pin on the board at about the 1100 mark, maybe slightly higher.

Good to know there are ZXR owners that're almost guaranteed to be colder than I am!

lets see, standard H1, no trick bits, no anodised tat, non original paint on fairings and frame/swingarm/everything, so its been apart completely

no mention of mileage ..

needs tyres

i'd pay about £800 for that

as for tyres needing to match, it depends.. i'll mix bridgestones and will reccomend an 090/092 combination, but i wouldnt mix different brands, my H1 came with a metzeler front and a bt020 on the back .. wasnt nice.
