I would, but I've not thought of a name that's stuck for any of my bikes or cars yet, with one exception, my ol' diesel 205, I called that one Geronimo jokingly at one point (because it took anywhere between 18 seconds and eternity to reach 60), and that stuck.
I would call the Vitesse 'Tesse, but that just strikes me as lacking creativity. That and it's been done before, to death.

only name the gixer, "from-hell", "born again" or generally it gets called "the beast" think they are the only names that are fit to use unless anyone can tell me otherwise?

Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

this got me thinking and after a chat with the mrs, we decided that actually .. we really ought to start thinking up names for stuff ..
i mean,
green one
black one
other one
600
r6
car
alfa
van
its pathetic..
christ, even the cat is called "cat cat"
only thing we have that's got a name is the dog, (Beth) and thats because we didnt name her !
we had some mice once, they were called "the mice"

lol yeah i think when you name a bike you love and respect her all the more my vfr 400 nc30 was called wonda because she was a white honda lol or you could make an anagram of the number plate or any kinda markings on them anything really could make a good name for a bike although i dont think a mans name would be good i would feel strange riding a boy anyone else lol

Alright, naming and shaming -

Geronimo, at one of her finer moments.
N.B: This looks fast. It's not.
*Edit* And yes, if you look closely enough, you can see swearwords written in the grime on the bottom half.
