Which bike?

Post by Vard66 »

You are allowed to keep your ZXR 400, and are granted as much money as you could ever need to buy one more bike, but that in itself is the catch, you may only buy one other bike.
What would that bike be?
Your one other dream two wheel'd machine?

Just to kick it off, here's mine.

Anyone who can show me something more gorgeous than that, wins a cookie. (It might be difficult though, methinks...)

*Edit* Also, I should mention that posting a photograph of a 998 in the Matrix style deep metallic green is cheating, and will be discounted from the challenge, though for the record, I think you'd be right, it is more gorgeous in that green.
Vard.

The trouble with having an open mind, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

britten synopsis,

built in a shed by an engineering genius and some of his mates in new zealand.. because they could.. (and because the ducati they'd started out modifying was crap)

everything made in house, made loads of power (170bhp! in like 1994!) was almost entirely carbon fibre, entered it in some big races (daytona) and made the factories look rather silly, by winning

he died, age 45. 10 bikes were built.

couple I know up this way have just put a deposit down on a desmosedici. money no object I'd probably do the same.

If I couldn't get hold of one, then I'd probably agree with Gem on the RC45.

Xphy - take a look at this months PB for a big feature on the ZXR750R/K. I wouldn't say no to one of those either.
In the garage:
Kawasaki ZXR400 L3 - shiny
Suzuki DR800 - bouncy
1978 Suzuki GS400 - PROJECT RETRO RACER!
Kawasaki GPz500S - for sale soon
Honda CG125 BR-J - in bits
