i wonder what it would be like to come off at 240mph and depending on how you landed would you survive

i would think as long as your leathers held together and u dont bounce around too much nor hit anything, you should live

Re: Your Road Kills + Camper Vans
you're going to need some pretty good/thick leathers to allow you to slide to a halt from 240mph without wearing through. Assuming you have enough straight, smooth tarmac to slide on.
If you don't and you hit something solid at that speed, your screwed.

Re: Your Road Kills + Camper Vans
its just general chit chat about modern upto date issues close to peoples hearts
see if you were sliding on grass it wouldnt be so bad i guess but i suppose if you start to twist or anything things could get tricky. i only thought of it cos iv never actually had an off an i hope i never do lol. ohhh i can only imagine what a pizza leg would feel like ouch.

Re: Your Road Kills + Camper Vans
grash can hurt, if you dig in at speed it will flip you so you strart rolling, thats when bones start to come apart. If you land flat and your leathers hold togeather and you dont hit anything i dont see why you should die, well apart from shiting out your hart

Re: Your Road Kills + Camper Vans
I wonder what the fastest bike crash has been?
Road, track and strip, I guess...
I think it was one of the Jap riders last year who came a cropper at around 190mph at that circuit (possibly a Japanese one) where the racing line to the first corner cuts across the pit exit? Dunno if he got road rash but I believe all he said for the next few days was "uuuUUhhhHhhhhh..."
