Hi-
I have my bike on a rear paddock stand and when i spin the wheel it makes a strange clicking noise at random intervals.. i have just replaced the front and rear sprocket.. had the intension of replacing the chain even tho it looks fine so i didnt.
I'm pretty sure its not i tight link. i have oiled the chain.
Could it be anything to do with the rear swingarm?
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks
Wierd Noise!

Could still be the chain even if you oiled it. It could have a tight spot in which case you need to go round the chain and give each link a a bend till you find it and then work some more oil in till it loosens up.
But have a listen when you turn the wheel and see if you can locate the ticking sound. Could even be a wheel bearing gone but check the simple stuff first.

Hi Redex-
Have listened out for it and it sounds like it coming from the front sprocket... shall take it all apart again and put new chain on..
Think thats my best bet!
Thanks for your help!

Re: Wierd Noise!
have you checked the sprocket carrier bearing ? maybe you tightened the back wheel to tight?
