Pirelli Super Corsa Pros
These tyres are absolutely fu*king amazing!!!!!
Just had them fitted this morning, went out for a blast, and the bike has never ever felt so planted, so responsive and so stable in a corner. Its not even warm out there and the grip was unbelievable!!
GET SOME!!!!

Re: Pirelli Super Corsa Pros
Well I'm glad you liked them
Despite what you say, just a little word of warning, they are a track focused tyre and as such work best when properly warmed up, so I would make sure they are warm before you 'go for it'. Pure road tyres are designed to warm up quicker and work better than track tyres at lower temperatures. I would hate for you to get over confident with them and end up on your butt before getting them warmed up properly

Thanks for the advice, i noticed it today abit, they felt a little more slippery than usual as its quite a cold day. Made sure i got them warmed up as much as possible before giving it some. Thanks again.

Re: Pirelli Super Corsa Pros
Just bought a bike with one of these on the back (almost new) but the front needs repalcing. When telling the guy at the trye garage he thought I was mad to have this tyre on the bike and said I would never get enough heat in it as its meant for a 1000cc bike and has a W rating and if I rode it in the wet I would be in real trouble. Obviously he then tried to tell me I should replace the front and the back with something different but if I did want him to fit a supercorsa on the front I'd have to sign a disclaimer of some rubbish.
So, my question is is this tyre ok or should I be thinking about changing both?
Thanks

there pointless on a 400 on road unless your an amzing rider (and i mean truely amazing). BT 090's are going to be far better.

Re: Pirelli Super Corsa Pros
Pointless as in I wont be able to use their full potential? or pointless as in no grip? I only need a front tyre so would like to replace this to match the back (which is almost brand new) instead of having to buy two new tyres.

Re: Pirelli Super Corsa Pros
take no notice fella, he's messin.
there great tyres, fantastic infact. You can ride in the wet if you want just dont hammer it, but would you in the wet anyhow? just ride into them gradually each ride, but you probs do anyhow.
Ive hammered them from the opening lap with no heat in them at all, before i had tyre warmers. sure they squirm a bit, and wheelspin from a hard start, but nothing out of control.
imo, deffo worth that slight extra bit of care, for the times when you want to go for it

Re: Pirelli Super Corsa Pros
Hi Ya.. Just had a pair of a friends part worn supercorsa pro's fitted - he'd used 120/70 on the front for racing
Question here is how does this affect the handling?
Am i better of splashing out for a 120/60 front instead?
Cheers

They are fucking awsome tyres. Just gotta warm them up and be careful in the wet.

Hi Jake
so i take it you've a 70 on the front?
do you use this on the road and track?
If so what made you choose the 70 over the 60 profile?
