I'm afraid I've got no answer re fitting alternative calipers to work with those, other than change the forks to L model. Or you could make up an adaptor plate!

Are they new, if so, can you not change them for H discs?

BTW, H model calipers are better anyway, they've got larger pistons :smt002

mmmmm...that sounds good though. ill have a look on ebay maybe there is one.
The discs are not new, i bought them from a friend, i thought by changing the calipers using the L model ones with standard H forks will sort the problem out, but it didnt. ill keep it posted if i got the gsxr calipers, cheers guys.
anyway, where can i get my frame and swing arm powdercoated?
cheers.

the Tokico 6 pots were put on a lot of bikes including gsxrs and the zx7r, recent ones on ebay are selling for £130+ so you'll be very lucky to get any for £50, they are very much sought after by streetfighter builders.Just bear in mind if you do buy some they are well known for seizing up and the seals are about £2.50 each, and there is 24 of em :smt003

Finally 'he' answers my call, just won 6 pot tokico caliper off gsxr 750 K2 model off ebay, hopefully they come up fine as the seller has described them in good working order. What do i need to do with them to get them on on my H forks? making a spacer or etc2?
and i hope the seals are fine though, 24 is a big number for seals....
Oh yeah, actually ive got plenty pictures to show my progress, ill try to get them uploaded tonight and post them.

well i would have thought one off a zx7r would do the job but of all the conversions i've heard of no-one has mentioned changing the master cylinder, try it as it is and if they don't feel right then change it.

Recently i have been working on the engine, now ive got the new timing chain on and everything back together for the engine.
That was pretty harsh to put the engine back on the bike by my self without using anything. I will never do that again....
Anyway, the engine is now back on the bike and just need to do wiring, which im not really sure how to....

Once i got the engine on the bike, it really pushed me to give the bike a little bit extra treatments though....
First, i gave her new lightweight carbon ass as her ass doesnt sound nice when she farts..

Secondly, i bought her new 'legs' for me to put my foot on...

In my spare time, i also been trying to make a single seat cover from fiberglass. I hope this gonna work, i made the mold from cardboard and smir it with grease so the fiberglass wont stick onto the mold.
Well here is whats come up...

Some cracking work there, i like how you are doing all the fibreglass'ing etc.

When you put the new valves in, did you cut the valve seats? If not they will not sit flush, although i doubt you will notice too much of a difference....

Good job on the numbering though, too many times you see people shoving stuff back in a random order, with no way of telling how its done. Usually for the valves i use a piece of cardboard and poke them through, with the cardbaord marked at the timing chain side. Then for the shims i use a piece of paper with them taped down.

The bike is looking lovely, black and gold :smt003 :smt003 best choice. Your english is great, there is no need to apologise for it at all, its at a higher standard than most!

Thank you mongo.
Yeah mate i did re-cut the valve seats, spent 3 hours trying to get them flushed. Really is a pain in the butt....lol...
I love the black and gold but unfortunately the bike has so many cracks along the fairings, so its now in process of repainting. have you got any suggestions for the colour?

Over the weekend i was trying to finish up the bottom Ram air box and i actually had it finished. When i was doing the bottom ram air i covered the frame with masking tape to avoid any resin to stick on it. Cos i left the bike outside, the masking tape gets wet and when i took them off, the paint sticks on the tape and ruined the frame. Really was a nightmare that day.....
So i thought this would be the best to repaint the frame as the paint is peeled off in some places. Then i sanded down the paint on the frame and on the swing arm on that day....

And the next day (sunday) i took everything apart, get them all washed and smoothed up, and finally sprayed them with primer...

After 2 hours, the primer is dried. Next, i sprayed them with matt black colour. Then finished with laquer.

They came up nice, very happy with the result.

The next day (monday), I put everything back together and finally the calipers arrived.I Put them on straight away on the bike. Fits perfectly, no modifications needed, only need couple washers as the spacer. Woohooooo......Loving that look....
Finally i have front brakes, just need to clean off the front discs as they just rusty. And thatd be it for the brakes.

Mate, that looks phenomenal!!! The 6 pots really make the front end look good. What paint did you use on the frame?
