Dyno near Maidstone and Gasket?

Post by crushedlizard »

Does anyone know somewhere near Maidstone that I could take my ZXR to be jetted?

Also, any idea where the best place to get head gasket is? I've still not done the compression test as I've got loads of uni work on but I may as well start preparing for the worst. I had to pull over 3 times today to let it cool down so something is certainly wrong.

Cheers

Dunno if you knew of powerhouse motorcycles in ashford? But they have been taken over by Laguna's in maidstone and they had a dyno centre there, no idea if its still there after the buy out, but worth looking into. I got good reccomendations for HM racing

Based in orpington. Having my 7R done there when i fit my Ti exhaust, having K&N jets fitted and setup on the dyno all for £125.

about your hot running, mine (amungst other things) ran hot. I doused the fan in WD40 and then bridged the temp sensor on the left side of the rad. Just don't get scared when the fan comes on when your riding and fires WD40 onto your downpipes... causing alot of smoke.
cheers

the fan motor can get clogged with crap, and the WD40 helps loosen it up
