Timinhg help needed asap!!!!
hey guys, basically to cut a long story short i did the head gaskgeton my l3, put it back together tried to start it and it refused sounding like timing was out, so i double checked it and it looked exactly how i took it off, so ive been trying over the last couple off days differant ways, like advancing a cam one tooth and so on, that didnt work so i set it up how the manual says, that didnt work and i messed about with the settings around that. im stuck here sratching my head and getting annoyed now so i was wonddering does anyone know of any other problems people have come accross doing this job that might make it not start, eg disturbing the coils or any of the wiring????? or does anyone have any pictures of how yours are set up, please help im struggling now and starting to get fed up with the job and need to get it working, im sick of borrowing my bosses XR lol cheers guys

this is how my coils are arranged. Have you checked to make sure everything is properly connected with repect to the wiring? i.e. theres something you havent connected?

hey guys cheers for the help. sorry about the slow reply have no computer at the minute. i got it sorted the day i wrote that message, the problem was i didnt think about taking the spark plugs out when timeing up so when i timed it up and touched the cam chain the crankshaft must of slipped a little under compression, something so simple cost me so much time lol, but shes running and sitting outside after a nice wash and polish looking good in one peice now, cheers again
