In a private car park the Police can't enforce causing an obstruction. :smt002

Probably best to take my numbers out though!

PMSL no way!!!

I'm definitely going to print out a few of my signature strips to carry around with me!

I'm not going to cause any damage to the cars (much as the rage tells me I should), simply block them in and place a note or two under their wiper!

And get a pic, of course.

It's best to mention it to customer services on your way in that you've blocked a car in the bike parking bay, just so they know what's going on.

Actually I may draft my Tesco's email to them today...

Jamz this is one of the best internet threads/rants I've read in ages. Fair play to you mate. Its exactly the same situation with my work car car park when I drive to work. Most of us have designated spaces. Some don't and shouldn't be there. Some of these arses who don't have a designated space decide to park in MY space because its the furthest away from the security hut and think security won't see. So it means when I come in to work, if in the car, I've no space. So I just block them in. Then, surprise surprise, half an hour after I've arrived in work, the owner of the other car needs to go out or whatever. So, I say I'll be there to move my car in about....ohhhh, soon (as I'm a very busy man you know! :smt002 ). I return MUCH MUCH later to see the very pissed off person apologising profusely. Plus he's an hour late to wherever he's supposed to be. :smt004

Back to the Tesco situation, it pisses me off too. As someone mentioned earlier on, if we were to park in disabled or parent's/kiddies spaces, there'd be uproar! I DON'T PARK IN DISABLED SPOTS OUT OF COURTESY AND THE FACT I'M NOT A WANKER. Why should us bikers have to endure others being w****ers by parking in our spots? :smt013

Was it an actual fine, Rene?

I have a few more pics onmy phone since I last posted in this thread.

One of them is apparently an Area Manager, too! :smt013 I had the pleasure of hearing Security tell them to move, as I carried on about my shopping, before strolling back to find them stood by the car waiting for me so they could move out of the spot! :smt003

FKRS! :smt013

I've been thinking about setting up another MySpace account or website purely for this, and to put pics up and make sure Tesco's know about it and are pointed towards any new pics until they do something about it...

I could set up an MSN group?

That way, it's easy for anyone else to add their pics, and all free!

The only problem with MySpace is that it's harder for other people to add pictures.

I guess it depends how much I can be arsed to do, really... :smt015
