Post by RedexRobB »

Whats everyone upto this year? Any one doing much riding?

Ill be doing roughly 300 miles, 60 miles home, 100 miles to girlfriends then about 120 back to Shatfield. Cant think of a beter way to spend christmas than riding around foggy england! :smt003

I dont have the xjr anymore1 :)

The ZXR is tucked away in my shed at home, and ill be riding my ZX7 around to do all of that mileage.

Heard those reports too, im heading home sunday evening which should be interesting to say the least! I quite welcome these sort of conditions because i havent got much experience of them. Ok they arent ideal but sometimes you might have no choice in riding in them, in which case you need all the experience you can draw on. Its not very often these conditions arise so i relish the challenge!

Well when i picked my bike up last night was bloody awfull to ride in, especially if ya wear glasses. My visor kept misting up and i lifted it, then my glasses misted up from the damp. I getting a train to misses this weekend, aint risking it. The fog is gonna stay till xmas tehy reckon.

Ride safe anyway mate, don't want any bad news. Unlit roads were awful btw.

I went out briefly yesterday but refused to open visor, cos once my glasses are misted i really am buggered my eyesight is so bad. Managed to peep through a bit of visor that managed to stay clear.

Fog here the visibilty is about 100m or so, i know its worse the further north and east you go.
