I've come across this engine in a motorcycle shop they want £250
They said:
It's possibly 1990-95 model
Unknown mileage
Came into workshop 99-00 after an accident causing the generator case to crack.
It's so clean on the outside! Compared to my corroded walls!
However as you can see it's been sat for a long time! Risk of dry seizure etc..He said he would do a compression test but can't run it as it doesn't have the generator. And if it didn't run in my bike then he would refund me..
It's hardly been used ..
Pictured is mounting welds.. Not sure if that's from the same accident ..?
Also the exhaust outlets have not been covered!
What do you think??. Would you buy it?
