camless engines have been around for at least a decade:

but as with that koenigsegg video...they are very noisy, and that was just a video of a single valve, imagine 16+ of those...

Ducati use pneumatics to close the valves as a replacement for valve springs, not as a method of opening valves like the Koenigsegg video.

I cant imagine them being that noisy in a production model...
You know with being in an enclosure and the noise of the exhaust.

Them guys at Koenigsegg must be mad wasting all that money on a useless and pointless new engine design.

I believe f1 cars have been using hydraulicly operated valves for years.
