Elbow down anyone?

Post by Smousley1995 »

I was about a centimetre off getting my elbow down on the weekend! The red bit is a stretch panel above the elbow so it's basically touching!
Anyone had their elbow down on their 400?

On my old zx7 I did but not the 400. No pics unfortunately. My tip would be to grip the end of the throttle tube rather than the inside. That should give you another few inches.

But we'll done. An achievement made by very few.

I've heard very good things about the front ends on zx7's!
And yeah I'm waiting for some decent weather again to try again, it's pretty useless because it's uncomfy with my elbow out like that, I usually just let my arm sort of do its own thing but i want to say I've done it :pmsl

Okay smart ar5e, can you do a really slow figure 8 twice without putting your foot down, or ride behind a man (or woman) walking, ditto foot down :pmsl
Does the low seat height reflect the low intelligence? Easier to get an asshole onto.

That's what I'm doing in the photo! I was trying to ride behind a walking man and I'm actually falling over in the photo and put my elbow out to catch me :pmsl

Nice shot! I've still not been able to crank the bike over that much! Think it's time to get the suspension sorted on mine... Very pogo like :D

Once you've got technique, throttle control, body positioning and weighting sorted out as second nature it's all confidence really, I'm only on sport touring tyres there.

It does beg the question "Why??" ... but you'd probably say "Why not?", right?

Once upon a time I got my knee down, then my elbow down, then my face down.

Yeah pretty much, why not, just wanted to see how far I could go and if I could get my elbow down :P I think I found the limit of my tyres though :(

Haha yeah camas that's pretty much how this one went :P I only slid about 4 foot because I was going so slow though :)
