looks about right, cant say ive ever seen one on a bike, its only a cable holder.
to remove that 8mm bolt that it goes through, you will need to remove the 10mm bolt that secures the gear shift lever to the pivot...or just dont bother with that little bit of unnecessary metal, and rejoice in the weight savings!
