engine that fits in..

Hi, I`m new on this forum, and I`m here cause I need help

I`m from Croatia, and as far as I know I have the one and only ZXR400 in my country..
I love this bike, but the parts are impossible to find, and I need new engine..
I have read some topics here on forum, but didn`t find the answer on the question I need..

Which engine would fit in?
I heard something about ZX 600 or 636.. But not shure.. Anyone have any idea?

Hi, A friend of mine has fitted a Kawasaki EX650 motor into the ZXR frame. Not to sure how much modifications are needed but it could be a good place to start.Good luck
