Re: zxr TLC
mine is getting well washed by the rain...knew i shouldnt have polished the frame...rain really makes it look bad with all the water marks
ordered some parts, HT leads and main jets, need a 8mm ring spanner, 17mm socket, 110+Nm torque wrench, clutch holding tool, clutch main nut and probably a full clutch rebuild kit...will have to wait until next payday and my 2 week vacation/bike maintenance
edit also need a soldering iron and some solder...gonna check out my coil pickup, generator and starter circuits, see if i can rectify my hot-start problem...plus giving an 18 year old bike an electrical makeover cant hurt, reminds me, need dielectric grease as well...stops the connectors from ingressing water and getting corroded in the first place...
edit again...also need black and gold caliper paint, gonna do calipers and rotors, also will do the clock holder and the fairing stay and a few bits like the rear footrests and footrest hanger...maybe get some silver paint as well and rubdown the rust off the subframe and paint that too...

Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘Holy toad, what a ride!
