Tail tidy?

Post by JoeZXR »

hello, iv just joined the forum :smt001

just wondering what the best option is for a tail tidy to get rid of the horrendous bulky reflecter nob thing lol

cant seem to find any on the internet and apparently there hard to come by so iv been told cutting down the original and fitting a new bracket works well?

let me know if you have any pictures or previous threads if its been done before?

thanks!

If you check out the paint and bodywork section there should be an advert above the forum for what your looking for :-)
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

I made one from aluminium angle,

I asked them to cut it down to 200mm they will post the off cut also as you will have paid for 250mm, I then cut the 50mm piece in half to make two 25mm right angles for the indicator mounts drilled and bolted with M6 bolts and one M8 (also used to mount to subframe) to 200mm piece.
Fitted number plate with item below,

A couple of stick on reflectors and soldering + heat shrink tube. Job done.
