Speedo drive replacement

Post by Cadorna »

Hello, my name is Fernando.

I'm looking for a part number 92143-13391 (or maybe 92143-1339, Racing manual has the two numbers listed) It is a speedo mechanism replacement. This part is used when you remove the speedo drive and have to put something in this place, it is something like a spacer, once saw something on ebay but then I did not need it.Maybe if someone have one could help me and post the dimensions to make one for myself.

Thanks in advance.

if it's just a spacer you need, could you not use the speedo drive to get the dimensions you need and have a local machine shop or friendly model engineer knock you one up on a lathe?

Inside the speedo drive is a really good steel spacer......................just remove the ally bit and the cogs that do the driving and hey presto your left with a spacer

I'll try removing pieces from inside of the speedo drive or maybe try to make one with a lathe, but if someone have one to pass me sizes, it will be great.

Thanks guys.

Sizes ????

The speedo drive will provide all the sizes you need.............measure it ?

Or do as I suggested I run one of my race bikes with just the steel centre of the speedo drive...................no problem at all
