Ok can only afford to do one...replace my shagged 9-years and counting bridgestone bt-010 tyres for some spanking pirelli rosso II rubber ~£187 with a £25 pirelli rebate...
or
get my forks reconditioned, stiffer springs and replace the "leaking very badly onto the brakes" fork seals ~£210 - £250.
can only do one, suggestions please.

I probably would have gone with the forks, unless the tyres are illegal fo course? Mind you, so is a leaky seal. No good having the tyres that grip when the brakes cant though surely?

Re: Time to spend some cash, forks or tyres...
i notice the lack of grip from the tyres even at small lean angles a lot more, than the forks bother me, plus im gonna change the seals myself. ill still send them away for a full service at some point, the missus has just got a job, so hopefully that will be sooner rather than later.
