Cam chain tensioner blade

Yet again I have found a broken tensioner blade...............not good.

I'm begining to think this is a real problem............................

Worth checking if you have cam chain rattle........but then with the obsession with keeeping the engine in the frame most will never know....................will you ?

I've got my rocker cover off doing the valves at the mo, I know you can't replace the blade/guide with the engine in situ but is it possible to see the blade down the cavity? If you get the cam chain out of the way?
