can be, amongst other things .. neglect mostly winks

nothing new anyhow .. ive said it before and its common sense.


if the clearances tighten up, the valves wont completely close when the engine is hot and everything has expanded, so there's no compression, so it wont start.. but when you've pushed it home and done a compression test on the cold engine.. its fine .. or left it overnight, or , or or , ..

n stuff ...

worn out camchains retarding the cam timing doesnt help either, nor does shite jetting, clogged airfilters, knackered 20 year old spark plug leads, marginal 20 year old charging systems or batteries that have been repeatedly boiled dry by shagged reg/rec's
